Here are some key questions to consider...
Do you want engagement pictures? Or even a bridal portrait?
This is by no means required, but it's helpful in many ways. One it gets a professional picture out there for your save the dates/invitations/website. But more importantly it gets both the bride and groom comfortable around the camera & myself. If you're not a model it's very hard being photographed so much and being comfortable at the same time! Bridal & engagement shoots start at $50 per hour.
Any save the dates/invitations/wedding presents?
I have all kinds of magnets, cards and other great unique ideas to announce your wedding and make your special day everything from classic to the off beat in print. Ask about on going specials, you might qualify for some free save the date cards. Also consider giving photo gifts, one future bride did a special shoot in the pin up style and gave her man a vintage looking metal print...he loved it!
How long do you want me to capture your wedding? And what's the size of your wedding & the locations?
The size of the wedding and multiple locations can adjust the hourly charge, $150 is the standard charge per hour.
What's your style?
Do your research and get samples of what you do and don't like. This includes if you like black & white, sepia or other effects. I don't walk in and say this is how I work and this is how your wedding will look. I get your imput first and then shoot towards your vision. Think back on weddings you've been to as well and what was good and bad helps as well.
Do you want a photo album?
Albums are available from the classic slip in sleeves to amazing custom made books. Depending on size/quantity the prices vary. For the create your own albums, print packages are available to get 51, 101 or 151 straight prints in standard 4x6 or 5x7 sizes. Custom made albums come in different options in binding and take time to pick the images, layout & text...but they will tell the story of your special day!
When you get prints, any sizes you know you want?
Remember you can buy as much or little as wanted and you do NOT have to pick out ANYTHING before the wedding. But do you or your family have any special ideas to be aware of. I had one couple wanting a certain pose to recreate the brides parents wedding portrait and displayed them side by side on the wall.
